OLD favourites were turned into new-look masterpieces at Kilberry Valley Primary School last term.
Grade three and four students at the Hampton Park school chose a well-known story and rewrote it, before creating their book in two different forms.
The students were required to present their book using an information and communications technology tool and also produce a hard copy.
Teacher Christine Turner said the students came up with very impressive presentations.
Some students created pop-up books and some were creative with their use of materials in their hard copies, Ms Turner said.
The students showed their creations to staff, family and friends at a special presentation last term.
“It was very successful,” Ms Turner said.
