Fancy, but cheap

By Bridget Brady
The group has two buses available for anyone in the Casey area to hire at cheap rates, and had one replaced at a discounted rate from Berwick Toyota last Thursday.
Bob Wray from the Southern Villages Network said the buses, stationed at Pearcedale and Blind Bight, were ideal for schools, sporting and community groups or any outings.
Mr Wray said it was great to be able to provide the 12-seater buses at a cheap rate of $85 a day.
The Tooradin Bendigo Bank branch supports the group – and this year increased its donation to $3000 to help fund insurance and registration costs for the buses.
Bank manager Darryl Sutcliffe said the bank was pleased to offer the donation.
“We’re happy to be involved, because we know the good work Bob and his team are doing for the community at a good cost,” he said.
