Hamper help

HAMPERS given to the Cranbourne Salvation Army were in the hands of needy community members the day after they were donated.
VCAL students from Cranbourne Secondary College created the hampers with goods they had made throughout their food technology studies.
Teacher Stephanie Hughes said the students thought donating to the Salvation Army was a good way to give back to the community.

“They were very excited,” she said. Manager of support service at the Cranbourne Salvation Army, Kerry Jose, said the hampers were gone the day after they were donated.
“The people who received them were over the moon,” she said. “I think it’s a really great idea.”
