Break-ins

POLICE are on the lookout for an offender who broke into four childcare centres in Casey over the weekend.
The series of break-ins started at 3am on Friday 25 June, when someone gained entry into a kinder along the South Gippsland Highway in Tooradin.
Police said the unknown person searched the building, but couldn’t confirm whether anything had been stolen.
Twenty minutes later, someone broke into a childcare centre along Baxter-Tooradin Road in Pearcedale and searched through various filing cabinets and rooms.
Police said a white Toyota Landcruiser was seen in the area at the time of the break-in.
Again, police couldn’t confirm if anything had been stolen.
An offender gained entry into Future Kids, a childcare centre along Cranbourne-Frankston Road in Cranbourne West, through a rear window sometime between 6.30am on Friday 25 June and 7.30am on Sunday 27 June.
While inside the building, police said the person had searched through cupboards but nothing was stolen.
Drawers and rooms at a Cranbourne North childcare centre were raided when an offender broke into the centre by forcing the rear door between 1pm on Saturday 26 June and 12.45pm on Sunday 27 June.
Police said nothing was stolen from the Hoysted Avenue premises.
Anyone with information about the four break-ins is urged to call Detective Senior Constable Adam Ferguson at the Narre Warren police station on 9705 3111.
