PARAMEDICS say a skydiver is lucky not have been more seriously injured after a landing went wrong in Tooradin on Monday.
Paramedics were called to the landing site before 10am on Monday when they found a 59-year-old man sitting on his opened parachute.
Paramedic Mike Brassett said the man was given some pain relief medication and had a drip placed in his arm.
“He was holding his left shoulder in pain,” Mr Brasstt said. “Witnesses say the man landed on his shoulder before hitting his head.”
He was taken to Dandenong Hospital with a suspected dislocated shoulder.
