THE sausages will be sizzling in Cranbourne on Monday, as Lyndhurst Secondary College students put their chef hats on to raise money for their school production.
The students will be cooking a barbecue at Bunnings in Cranbourne on Monday, as part of a fundraising effort for their High School Musical production.
About 70 students from years 7 to 12 are involved in the production, which is based on the movie, and some of them be will down at Bunnings cooking the barbecue from 9am to 4pm.
Production coordinator Catherine Blackburne said the students had been rehearsing since February for the performances in September at the Cranbourne Community Theatre.
She said it was great to see the whole school community involved with the fundraising, as teachers and parents would also help out with the barbecue.
