18 homes raided, goods seized

POLICE executed search warrants in Cranbourne and Hampton Park last Thursday, when 18 homes were raided in an operation.
The warrants were executed at five Cranbourne addresses, one in Hampton Park and the rest at Frankston, Carrum Downs, Langwarrin, Skye, Somervilleand Rosebud.
Six firearms, a 21-foot wake boat and trailer, four sea-doos, a sea-doo jet boat, a WRX Subaru in pieces, about 1.5kg of amphetamines, more than $230,000 cash and a Darwin carpet python were seized.
Police arrested five men aged between 24 and 37 and two women aged between 29 and 30.
They were expected to appear at the Frankston Magistrates’ Court to face charges including drug trafficking, possessing the proceeds or crime and firearms offences.
