STUDENTS at Coral Park Primary School formed a human graph to celebrate their many different cultural backgrounds last month.
The students acknowledged the different parts of the world their families came from as part of Harmony Day celebrations.
During a week of activities at the school, students and teachers took part in international dancing and games, including a staff and students soccer game. Many students wore their national dress or orange, the colour of harmony, for a parade.
Some of the figures compiled from the human graph revealed students’ backgrounds from countries and areas including Australia, North Africa, South Africa, Central and West Africa, North America, China, India, Sri Lanka, South East Asia, South East Europe, Western Europe, Central Europe, Middle East and Pacific Islands.
