POLICE are looking for a man who threatened a 12-year-old boy with a baseball bat in Hampton Park on the weekend.
The boy was sitting on the footpath with his 14-year-old friend on Campbell Drive about 10pm on 20 February when a man got out of the passenger side of blue-coloured sedan.
Police said the boy started to run away, but tripped and grazed his knee.
The man stood over the boy and threatened him with a baseball bat and made demands for money, police said.
The boy handed over some money and the man got back into the car and left.
The boy had only been in the country for about seven months, police said.
If anyone has information contact Detective Senior Constable Shane Moody at Frankston Embona Task Force on 9784 5555.
