New leaders putbullies on notice

THE new school captains at Lyndhurst Secondary College say they will tackle issues such as bullying during their year as leaders.
The four captains, Brad Twyford, Jessica Schuyler, Jenny Neong and Maddison Selleck, said they would liaise with the student body to discover what needed to be done in their school.
“We’d like to discuss with the student representative council and get everyone’s opinion towards what needs to be changed,” Brad said.
Jess said working together was the best way to achieve goals.
The captains, who all share the same level of leadership responsibility, said having four school captains would help ease the pressure of school duties.
Jenny said her role as school captain this year would be a starting point for her ultimate career goal – to be a CEO of a large organisation.
Jess said she hoped to enter the journalism and media field, while Brad said he would aspire towards a role as an officer in the army.
