TWO offenders demanded cash and assaulted a Cranbourne North man with a baseball bat when he arrived home on the weekend.
The two men, one carrying a baseball bat, approached the 35-year-old man after he parked his car in the garage just after 2.30am on Saturday, police said.
They demanded the victim hand over all of the cash in his possession. He was assaulted with the bat and tried to close the garage door, police said.
After a struggle, the offenders fled empty-handed.
The offenders are described as 20-25 years old, about 170-175 centimetres tall with solid builds and wearing dark clothing. The Cranbourne North man suffered minor head injuries and bruising.
