POLICE believe three break-ins at sporting clubs in Casey may be linked after thieves stole soft drink and lollies from club rooms.
JP Camms Reserve pavilion, Devon Meadows Football Club and Merinda Cricket Club were all targeted during the night on 3-4 January.
Thieves forced roller doors to gain entry into the club rooms.
A total of $1000 worth of liquor was also stolen from the Devon Meadows club.
Thieves also tried to break into the Clyde Road Recreation Reserve on 4 January, but nothing was stolen as they could not gain entry.
Police said it was unusual to have several sports clubs targeted in a short period. Anyone with information should contact Detective Senior Constable David Measham on 9705 3111.
