POLICE are appealing for help to identify a man who committed an armed robbery in Cranbourne.
Two people were walking along Fairfield Street about 1.15am on 15 August when they were approached by two men.
One of the men allegedly struck one of the victims in the face with a bottle before demanding both of them hand over their wallets, police said.
The two men fled in a blue 2000 Ford sedan with a rear spoiler that followed the contours of the boot, police said.
Police described the armed man as a Caucasian, aged between 23 and 25, about 182cm tall, muscular and very short hair and prominent ears. Call Crime Stoppers with information on 1800 333 000.
