POLICE are appealing for information in relation to two petrol thefts in Cranbourne.
A male passenger pumped petrol into a vehicle that had stolen number plates at APCO service station on Narre Warren-Cranbourne Road in Cranbourne North on 20 October and drove away.
Police described the car as a dark-coloured VR-VS Holden station wagon.
The other incident occurred on 2 October at the BP Westernport service station on Thompsons Road.
Police are looking for a grey VN Holden commodore sedan with black standard rims, silver centres, black grille and possible damage to the boot lid where a rear spoiler was once fitted. Stolen number plates were also used in this incident, police said.
