Class reaps rewards

SOME artistic hands at Cranbourne Community House are relishing in their success at the recent Doveton Show.
The Cranbourne Community house has held children and teen art classes every Tuesday for more than 10 years.
Tutor Lisa Moore said some very talented young artists took part in the classes, as was evident from their success in entering the Doveton Show.
Some of the prizes included first places for Sophia Montero-Rivas, Emily Smith, Brittany Samperi, tutor Lisa Moore and former student Rachel Clark.
Jessica Gration-Wylie and Catherine Emmerson were among those that received second places and some of the encouragement award winners were Laura Cross and Yvonne Ritzert.
“The atmosphere in our classes is always enjoyable and the children really feel relaxed and comfortable, helping them to be able to open up and explore their creative sides,” she said.
