POLICE are on the hunt for thieves who stole $5000 worth of excavation equipment in Cranbourne.
According to police, the thieves removed a 60cm wide bucket and a ripper, which was attached to machinery, sometime between 5pm on Thursday 17 September and 7am on Friday 18 September.
Anyone with information is urged to call Senior Constable Jo Watson at the Cranbourne police station on 5991 0600.
