DEVON Meadows Primary School students this week brought their favourite book characters to life.
The students dressed up as their chosen characters on Monday for a parade as part of the school’s literacy, numeracy and book week activities.
The teachers also got involved and donned costumes suited to a character of their choice.
Prizes were awarded to the costumes judged the cutest and scariest, among other categories. A book fair was also held on the day.
Singer and storyteller Valanga Khoza will wrap up the week’s activities with a performance in the school hall tomorrow.
