THE Mornington Peninsula Nepean Football League (MPNFL) is investigating an incident involving an under 18s Pearcedale player who was hit by a spectator on June 20.
MPNFL operations manager Ian Benson confirmed an investigation officer would prepare a report on the alleged incident.
This follows an incident in which a spectator is believed to have struck an under 18s Pearcedale Football Club player during the first half of the match at Baxter on 20 June.
The spectator was a registered under 18s player with the Frankston Bombers Football Club, but was not playing at the time, Mr Benson said.
