POLICE charged a man with attempted armed robbery after an incident at a medical centre in Cranbourne last week.
Police said the man demanded a prescription for a specific drug and, when the doctor refused, he produced a knife and threatened the doctor and staff.
The incident occurred about 2.50pm on 17 June.
Police said they used oc foam on the man and took him into custody.
The 33-year-old man was remanded to appear at the Melbourne Magistrates’ Court.
