Meeting to fight plan

RESIDENTS are invited to have their say on an infrastructure charge scheme at a public meeting next month.
A committee against the tax, Taxed Out, will hold the meeting at the Oakwood Riding School in Clyde North on 15 July.
Residents will be able to “defend their rights as land owners” at the meeting. Taxed Out has been formed to raise awareness about the Growth Areas Infrastructure Charge scheme, and the committee is seeking voluntary membership contributions.
Funds raised will be used for car stickers, signage, mail drops, any professional services required and a website, which will contain updated information and allow for public comment.
The meeting is on 15 July at 7.30pm at Oakwood Riding School, at the end of Thompsons Road and the corner of Smiths Lane in Clyde North.
For more information contact Gina Abraham on 0419 102 244.
