Len takes a shot at 90

MORE than 30 Cranbourne Senior Citizens helped member Len Frost celebrate his 90th birthday on Sunday.
Mr Frost, a life member of the club, attended the regular carpet bowls on Sunday before being treated to birthday celebrations with cake and afternoon tea.
Mr Frost and wife June have been residents of Cranbourne for more than 20 years. They still enjoy bowls three times and week and continue to lead a good social life.
“He is in really good health and likes to keep fit and healthy, although he is starting to slow down a bit now,” Mrs Frost said.
Cranbourne Seniors social secretary Pat Mentha said Mr Frost was such a gentleman and it was a pleasure to help him celebrate this special occasion.
“He said he never had a 21st birthday because he was serving at war so he was so grateful for his 90th birthday celebrations,” Mrs Mentha said.
Mr Frost also celebrated with family on Saturday and was taken out for dinner by friends on Monday night.
