Value for money

By Bridget Brady
CHEAP threads for the Cranbourne community are now available at the new Salvos Stores Cranbourne.
The Salvation Army store opened on 29 May at the Cranbourne Homemaker Centre, offering second-hand clothing and goods such as books, accessories, shoes and furniture.
Salvos Stores southern Victoria area manager Gay Howlett said the opening was a huge success and the community had supported the store well so far.
“There is quality merchandise for the local people at really good value for money,” Ms Howlett said.
“We had a very successful opening and the support from the community has been absolutely wonderful.” Ms Howlett said Cranbourne was a suitable town to open a store because it was a growing community with young families.
“We thank Cranbourne residents for their support so far and hope we can build a greater relationship with the community and service them with great products and friendly service.”
The store is open from 9am to 5pm from Monday to Saturday and from 11am to 4pm on Sunday for donations only.
