POLICE will be replacing motorists’ number plate screws in Cranbourne for free next week.
In an effort to deter thieves from stealing number plates, drivers can have their licence screws replaced with ones that are more difficult to remove.
The event will be held at the Bunnings Warehouse car park on the corner of Thompsons Road and South Gippsland Highway in Cranbourne on Monday 15 June.
The free service will be available from 10am to 2pm.
