CONCERNED residents will meet in Clyde North tonight (Thursday) to discuss a proposed land tax.
The State Government is looking to introduce a Growth Areas Infrastructure Contribution Scheme, where landholders in the Urban Growth Boundary (UGB) could be charged $80,000 per hectare or $95,000 per hectare when they sell-up. In Casey, the UGB is set to expand with 5,500 hectares from Cranbourne East to Clyde being considered for inclusion. The meeting is at Oakwood Riding School, 10 Smiths Lane, Clyde North from 7.30pm
