CRANBOURNE shoppers took time away from their errands this month and donated money to the Starlight Children’s Foundation.
Cranbourne resident Peiman Fazli gave up his time to volunteer at Centro Shopping Centre on Starlight Day to help raise money to grant the wishes of sick children.
Mr Fazli, 20, said it was rewarding to help out.
“I have never volunteered for them before but I just thought it was a worthy cause and I thought I’d take the day off work and help out,” he said.
“It is very rewarding to know that you are making a difference.”
Starlight Day is the largest annual fundraising day for the foundation.
