Anzac Day

A TOUCH of sadness will be mixed with a sense of pride when Anzac Day is commemorated at several locations within the City of Casey this week. RSL branches will stage community activities to honour those who served and died for the nation.
Events include:
Saturday 25 April:
• 5.30am: Dawn service at Cranbourne RSL followed by breakfast at 1475, South Gippsland Highway, Cranbourne.
• 10.30am: Service at the Cenotaph at Clydesdale Square, High Street, Cranbourne. Those wishing to march to the Cenotaph can assemble at the rear of Ritchie’s supermarket at 10.15am.
• 5.30am: Dawn service at Casey Civic Centre in Narre Warren.
• 11am: Service at the Cenotaph, High Street, Berwick.
• 1pm: Service at the Endeavour Hills Memorial, Heatherton Road at the Endeavour Hills Shopping Centre.
• 6am: Dawn service at Pillars of Freedom Clow Street, Dandenong.
• 10.30am: Memorial march from the Dandenong RSL, Clow Street, Dandenong.
