Dialysis show

THE Cranbourne Dialysis Unit will hold a fundraiser in Berwick on 26 April.
It will feature a bike and car show and shine, a sausage sizzle, jumping castle and raffles, will raise cash to purchase more TVs for the unit.
“We have people sitting in the room for four to five hours, three times a week, so they need something to do,” nurse Sky Martin said.
“At the moment we have several small ones but the chairs go round in a bit of a circle and there are only a few, so everyone has to share.”
Three quarters of the proceeds will go to the Cranbourne Dialysis Unit and the rest to the Victorian Bushfire Appeal. Entry is by gold coin donation, or $10 to enter a vehicle. The fundraiser will be held at the Old Cheese Factory at 34 Homestead Road, Berwick, from 10am. Phone 9704 8897 for details.
