Fashion duo share easy style tips

BAD bras teamed with cropped pants and t-shirts were the sights British fashion duo Trinny Woodall and Susannah Constantine were faced with last Thursday at Westfield Fountain Gate.
The stylists poked and prodded several women on the Narre Warren stage in front of more than 1600 people.
The women were hand-picked from the audience by the pair to receive one of their famous make-overs.
Julia Elliott from Nyora was one of the lucky women who received a make over and a $250 Westfield Fountain Gate gift voucher and a digital camera.
Ms Elliott’s look was transformed from a ‘casual black trousers and an oversized red t-shirt’ look to a feminie flavour with a classic wrap dress.
When she saw a photo of her new look on stage, Ms Elliot’s initial reaction was “oh my goodness.”
“The last time I felt like this was 30 years ago,” she said.
Westfield Fountain Gate was the first centre in Victoria to host Trinny and Susannah.
Trinny said she saw a mixture of inspiring women and classic laziness while in Narre Warren, with underwear still being a problem.
The dynamic duo also said Australian women seemed to steer clear of dresses and according to Susannah, they were a woman’s secret weapon.
Trinny and Susannah also empowered shoppers with advice on how to create new looks for winter using items from previous seasons.
The pair said that new shoes and a belt could cheer up any outfit.
Westfield Fountain Gate marketing manager Suzi Evans told the News most of the fashion stores in the centre also offered a special discount for the night.
Westfield Fountain Gate’s next VIP Fashion Night will be in October this year to celebrate the start of summer fashion.
