STUDENT leaders at Lyndhurst Secondary College received some inspiring words from the Melbourne Football Club last week.
The school captains, sports house leaders and Student Representative Council (SRC) were inducted at an official ceremony last Tuesday.
Chris Connelly from the Melbourne Football Club was on hand to offer advice about leadership.
Acting assistant principal Jeff McMillin said the induction ceremony was the first official ceremony for the new leaders.
“It is a way of recognising that these kids put their hands up to be leaders and that their peers and teachers thought they were the best candidates to make the school better,” he said.
