POLICE have charged a 20-year-old Cranbourne West man with attempted armed robbery after he allegedly demanded cash from a Cranbourne business last month.
Police say the man entered Stockdale and Leggo real estate agency in High Street, Cranbourne, armed with a knife on 1 February. They say he demanded cash and fled when told there was none.
Police arrested the man on 3 March and also charged him with false imprisonment.
He was bailed to appear in the Melbourne Magistrates’ Court at a later date.
