TRIOS Tabaret and the three racing codes have joined forces to raise $25,000 for Victoria’s bushfire victims.
With Tricodes Day all set for this Sunday, bosses at the Cranbourne clubs have donated the money to the Red Cross Victorian Bushfire Appeal.
Trios Tabaret manager Brian Asley said the clubs wanted to do their bit to help those who suffered during the recent fires.
“The racing clubs and Trios Tabaret are very proud of their relationship with the community and see this as providing some assistance to those who urgently need this sort of support,” Mr Asley said.
Cranbourne Turf Club chief executive Neil Bainbridge said the club was delighted to join Trios in their kind donation to a very worthy cause. In addition, gate staff at Tricodes will be rattling tins to raise money for local fire crews. Tricodes Day on 22 March features 23 races in one day across the three different race codes, greyhounds, harness and thoroughbred.
