CASEY residents escaped damage to their houses after the earthquake on Friday night.
Simone Myers from the State Emergency Service (SES) said they did not receive any calls from the Berwick, Cranbourne and Dandenong area after the earthquake that happened about 9pm. But 280 people in Cranbourne reported feeling the earth-quake.
Ms Myers said the SES responded to a call in Cranbourne during the 24-hour period, but it was unrelated.
