Cook up a storm, casually

TIPS on how to create healthy, simple meals will be on offer at the Hampton Park Library when the Casual Chef visits town.
Chef Erik Jorgensen will read recipes and basic techniques about stewing, stir-frying and how to make soup from scratch.
Mr Jorgensen, who is the host and proprietor of Casual Chef Promotions, will also give tips on how to maintain a healthy pantry and fridge.
The Friends of the Hampton Park Library will host the free event on 4 March from 7pm to 8.30pm.
There will be no cooking in the library, but people will be able to take home recipes at no cost.
Bookings are essential. Contact the Hampton Park Library on 9702 9744.
