POLICE caught a 24-year-old Hampton Park man trying to steal goods from a hair salon in Cranbourne this week.
They arrested the man early on Monday morning while he was inside the shop on Camms Road.
He had smashed a window of the salon to gain entry but police apprehended him before he stole anything.
Police said the man had committed other burglaries that night and was in possession of a small quantity of cannabis.
They charged him with 21 offences including burglary, theft and theft of a motor car.
