CRANBOURNE Secondary College students donned their best red and yellow costumes last week to honour CFA members fighting the Victorian bushfires.
The students used their free-dress day last Thursday to dress in red and yellow and celebrate the efforts of fire-fighters.
With donations from the day and a staff morning tea last Friday, the school raised $5303 for the Red Cross Victorian Bushfire Appeal.
Staff members Mila Milenkovich, Jan Macalese and Marney McLean came up with the idea to transform the free-dress day into a red and yellow day, and were very impressed with the enthusiastic effort.
