MANY trains along the Cranbourne line were cancelled last week because of the scorching temperatures.
On Wednesday 28 January 11 trains were cancelled, 18 were cancelled on the Thursday and 37 were cancelled on the Friday.
A Connex spokeswoman said the trains were cancelled because of various issues including a lack of available trains, a car crashing into a train on the Dandenong line, power shedding and heat-related issues.
