EXPERIENCED minds signed up for more learning at the Cranbourne U3A open day last week.
Members had the opportunity to sign up for classes for the 2009 year, while new- comers joined the club.
Blue Hills Retirement Village resident Ian Hibbins, 82, re-joined the Cranbourne U3A at the open day on Friday after a few years away from Cranbourne.
“I’m old but I need brain stimulus,” Mr Hibbins said.
“I like to keep learning things.”
Mr Hibbins, said he would try his hand at some tutoring this year.
“I love philosophy and Shakespearean tragedies …but it’s about enjoying the social side as well.”
