Killed in freak accident

A MAN died after he was hit by a truck at Lynbrook on Sunday morning.
Emergency crews were called to the Dandenong-Hastings Road about 2.50am but the 49-year-old Dandenong man died shortly after crews arrived.
Police are investigating but believe the man had been travelling south on the road when he stopped his vehicle, got out, fell and was struck.
