Casey looks to future growth

A PUBLIC forum to share ideas about Casey’s future will be held in Cranbourne tonight.
The Casey community is invited to have its say on the future direction of the municipality by providing input about the development of a new council plan.
Another meeting will be held on 13 February at Narre Warren.
City of Casey mayor Geoff Ablett said anyone involved in the municipality was invited to have their say.
“The City of Casey is changing and to ensure we are moving in the right direction, we are asking our community to tell us what is important to them and where they think we should be heading in the future,” Cr Ablett said.
“Casey residents have elected a new council, and one of our most important jobs is to develop a new council plan to guide the city into the future.”
Those interested in pro-viding input can also complete a questionnaire found on Casey’s website at www.casey.vic.gov.au or in local libraries.
Tonight’s forum will be held from 6.30pm to 8.30pm at the Balla Balla Centre, 65 Berwick-Cranbourne Road in Cranbourne East.
The session on 13 February will be held from 10am to noon at the City of Casey Civic Centre, Magid Drive in Narre Warren.
