Police hunting armed robber

AN ARMED robber is on the loose after holding up three fast-food restaurants in the past month.
Equipped with a baseball bat, the armed robber first struck a Cranbourne Subway store on the corner of High and Station streets on Wednesday 7 January.
Just after 10pm he approached staff and demanded cash before he went through the staff’s belongings and stole more cash.
Police believe the same man is responsible for two more armed robberies – on Saturday 18 January at a Red Rooster outlet in Cranbourne and on 23 January at a Subway store in Langwarrin.
He was armed with a knife in both those robberies.
Police are looking for a man they say is Caucasian, between 25 and 30 years old, 183 cm in height and unshaven with dirty matted hair.
In the first robbery he was wearing a grey, hooded windcheater with a Champion brand logo, dark blue or black pants and white runners.
Police are appealing for anyone with information to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or visit www.crimestoppers.com.au
