VALUABLES, including jewellery, were stolen from a house in Facey Road, Devon Meadows, last month.
The burglary took place on 3 December between 11am and 3.45pm.
Police said thieves broke through a front window and unlatched a steel pick from the front door. An extensive amount of jewellery, believed to be valued at more than $10,000, as well as a coin collection and Fuji 9500 digital camera were stolen.
A friend of the valuables’ owner told police two men had been seen walking near the house a short time after the burglary. The men are described as being in their early 20s to late 30s, and one was wearing tracksuit pants with a black stripe, and carrying a hoodi or backpack.
Anyone with information is urged to contact Senior Constable Verity 5991 0600 or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
