Model quest for fresh faces

BUDDING models can enter the QV Face Cosmopolitan Model Search, which is coming to Cranbourne next week.
This year, the Cosmopolitan Model Agency is searching for five hopeful international models during 100 nation-wide competitions.
The first heat will be held on 20 January at Cranbourne Centro Shopping Centre, with two more heats and a final running through to 23 January.
Registration will be on 19 January, from noon until 4pm, at the shopping centre. Both male and female hopefuls are welcome to enter the competition. The winners from Cranbourne will go into the final in November.
International model contracts with agencies such as IMG in New York, Cal Carries Hong Kong, Ice Milano and Elite South East Asia are up for grabs in the final. Two contestants will also receive a fashion wardrobe valued at $1000.
One winner will become the face of leading skincare brand QV Face, while all contestants will receive a QV Face gift pack valued at $70.
QV senior brand manger Stephanie Clayton said the model search was a fabulous event.
“It provides incredible opportunities for up-and-coming fashion models to be discovered from country or city areas.
“We’re equally excited about discovering who will become the new model for QV Face,’’ she said.
