BALLROOM dancing has become part of the curriculum at Cranbourne South Primary School.
This is the first year the dance class has been introduced to the Grade 6 students.
Students learned rock and roll moves, the cha cha, and salsa dancing led by dance instructor Les Waugh.
“It is a different way to stay active,” senior teacher Karen Helket said. “The students love it. It keeps them active, has increased their confidence and improved their manners.”
Students will show off their dance moves at their Grade 6 graduation ceremony.
