BUDDING athletes from Tooradin Primary School were involved in friendly competition at the school’s house athletics event last week.
Sports co-ordinator Lisa Lever said 214 students from Prep to Grade 6 participated in the physical activities.
They had a fantastic day,” she said. “Physical fitness is top priority at Tooradin Primary. We encourage all children to be involved in house athletics.”
Ms Lever said sprint champion awards were presented to eight students from each class and a Tooradin Primary School overall athlete will be awarded to one student at the end of the year.
