ABOUT 150 people recently enjoyed an array of musical talents from students at the Cranbourne Secondary College to raise money for the Starlight Foundation.
College music teacher, Daniel Nobelius, said the Year 10 students organised the concert and performed original compositions.
“It was purely their idea,” Mr Nobelius said.
“One of the students was affiliated with the Starlight Foundation, so she suggested we raise money for it.”
The Starlight Foundation is dedicated to helping seriously ill and hospitalised children and their families by raising money to grant children their wish.
Students sang songs and performed a variety of instrumental ensembles, including guitar, percussion, and piano compositions.
They raised almost $200.
Mr Nobelius said the concert was a success and will become an annual event.
