Smiles all round for kids’ cause

By Bridget Brady
Customers lined up for their Big Macs on McHappy Day on Saturday and raised money for the Ronald McDonald House, which provides a home for seriously ill children and their families while they are receiving hospital care.
Manager of the store Renee Svirak said the day was a great success.
“All of our staff dressed up in fairy costumes and the boys wore tights, fairy wings and tutus, which kept the customers very entertained,” she said.
Ms Svirak said she was pleased to see so many customers at the store for charity.
A dollar from each Big Mac sold went to Ronald McDonald House.
