CREEPY crawly creatures have been the centre of attention at the Tooradin Primary School. Students from Prep to Grade 2 got their hands dirty to learn about bugs, beetles, and common insects.
Prep teacher Kristie Young said during the lessons, children witnessed the transformation of tadpoles into frogs and released them into the school’s creek bed area. Students also made kites in the shape of spiders, caterpillars and other creepy bugs.
The lessons concluded with an excursion to see the creepy creatures at the Museum and IMAX.
