POLICE are urging residents to lock garages and sheds at night, after a record number of burglaries in the City of Casey.
Police say they are facing an epidemic of thieves entering garages and sheds – attached to homes or freestanding – and stealing from vehicles and motorbikes.
Residents need to alert police of suspicious behaviour by immediately calling 000.
