Funding support offered

A COMMUNITY fund will be set up to help Cranbourne residents who are affected by the methane gas chaos.
City of Casey mayor Janet Halsall last week put forward a notice of motion at a council meeting to establish the fund.
Cr Halsall said the fund was not compensation, rather an opportunity for individuals, community groups and churches to show their support.
“We want to spread the word and show positive and productive support,” she said.
