HOMICIDE detectives charged two people with murder this week following the death of a 24-year-old Cranbourne man last month.
Matthew McEvoy died after an assault outside a city nightclub on 7 September.
Police charged 21-year old Andryas Tello and 18-year-old Lauren Sako, both from Roxburgh Park, with one count of murder and affray on Monday.
They appeared before the Melbourne Magistrates Court on Monday for a remand hearing.
They were previously charged with one count each of intentionally causing serious injury relating to the same incident.
